An international author, poet, visual artist, and speaker, Assata is the visionary founder of House of Assata Unbound—a creative sanctuary where legacy breathes and every expression becomes a form of liberation.

Her work is rooted in ancestral memory, divine feminine energy, sensuality, and an unwavering refusal to be confined by genre, geography, or tradition. Sometimes a story asks to be written. Sometimes it arrives in color, texture, shape, or the human form. And sometimes, it demands both.

As the author of four published books, Assata's literary world moves through poetry, storytelling, erotic expression, visual art, and reflection. Ear Candy and Ear Candy: Fetish Edition explore erotic power, sensuality, intimacy, and reclamation through language that is lyrical and unapologetic. Petty Cache turns micro-stories and poetic jabs into something deliciously sharp—petty as poetry, elegant as armor. IFE Unveiled, available in English and Spanish, brings painting, storytelling, and reflection together in a multidisciplinary work born from Assata's original art series.

But Assata's creative universe has never belonged solely to the page.

As a resident artist at Soho Gallery in Mérida, Mexico, she brings her visual and poetic work into physical spaces, transforming gallery walls into places of memory, story, color, and vision. Her artwork has also been exhibited in Mexico City, while her literary and spoken-word practice has carried her into live spaces internationally—from sharing her work in Amsterdam to headlining open mic stages in Mérida.

At the center of it all is House of Assata Unbound.
