As a resident artist at Soho Gallery in Mérida, Mexico, Assata brings her visual and poetic work into curated physical spaces, transforming gallery walls into altars of memory, story, and vision. Her artwork has also been exhibited in Mexico City, while her literary and spoken-word practice has carried her into live spaces internationally — from sharing her work in Amsterdam to headlining open mic stages in Mérida.
